Duck Hunting in Duck

Good to know

Before you book

Do you provide blinds, decoys, and calling?
Yes — and dogs for retrieval. You bring your gun, license, stamps, and steel shot.
Can you take a single hunter or a beginner?
Both. We pair singles, and we run dedicated youth/beginner hunts with loaner guns and coaching.
What license and stamps do I need?
NC hunting license, federal duck stamp, HIP certification, and non-toxic shot. Youth may use a mentor license — we’ll advise.
Do you hunt legal hours and limits?
Always. No skybusting, no over-limits. A good hunt is one you can tell the story of honestly.
What areas do you hunt?
Duck, Manteo, and the marshes and open sound of the northern Outer Banks and the Roanoke area.
What if the weather is bad for a sea-duck hunt?
We call unsafe weather and reschedule. You don’t lose your deposit for a weather call we make.
